Where can I get the CaDo system?

Sales of the CaDo are expected to start in the course of 2025®technology through our website. We recommend that you place your order in consultation with your urologist. If you would like to be informed as soon as the sale starts, you can register on our waiting list enter (link?).

Does the health insurance company cover the costs for CaDo?
We are already in the clinical testing phase of the CaDo®system. We hope to be able to provide further information soon on whether and when CaDo® will also be available on prescription. Since the technology is also more cost-effective for health insurance companies than emergency services, we are confident about this.
Does the CaDo system work with my catheter?

We try to make the CaDo®technology compatible with as many catheters as possible. However, the large number of solutions on offer makes it difficult, at least at the time of our product's market launch, to ensure approval for all catheters on offer. We therefore supply you with suitable catheters for optimal results with the disposable material. In addition, we will provide a list of all catheters that can be used safely and without problems as soon as possible. In consultation with your doctor, it is usually possible to switch to a different catheter if the catheter you are currently using is not yet supported.

Are there any risks associated with using it?
CaDo® undergoes all necessary clinical tests. If used correctly, there are no risks associated with the application. In particular, injury to the bladder caused by the cleaning wire inserted into the catheter is ruled out.
Does the CaDo system eliminate the need to replace the catheter regularly?

No, the care of the ceiling catheter must also be carried out when using the CaDo®cleaning system can take place in the usual way. Regular changes of the catheter and urine bag and typical catheter care are therefore still required. The CaDo®system is used to remove deposits from blocked catheters at an early stage and to ensure that routine change intervals are maintained.

How much does the CaDo system cost?

The price for the CaDo system has not yet been finalized. Shortly before the market launch, you will be able to view the prices for the system components individually and for advantageous sets as well as for suitable accessories in our web shop.

Which catheters is the CaDo system compatible with?

We design the CaDo®-CLEAN work inserts initially for suprapubic catheters of sizes Ch. 14, 16, 18 and 20. For safety reasons, the system is designed for catheters with a length of 40 cm. We also supply such catheters. With longer catheters, it must be expected that the cleaning process will not be carried out completely, with correspondingly poorer results.

Can the CaDo-DRIVE control module be used for multiple patients?

No, just like the CaDo®CLEAN consumables, the control device is also a hygiene item that must be kept separately for each patient. Patients in nursing homes also need their own CaDo®-DRIVE module required. Although the technology is of course designed to be completely disinfected, the transmission of germs and other pathogens is difficult to avoid when shared.
