CaDo Medical Solutions

About Us

How it began

A practical solution

Our founder Dr. David Elsaesser is a urologist in Erlangen. As with all urologists, blocked catheters are part of his daily routine. A problem that is in itself banal often causes a lot of organizational effort. In addition, he was repeatedly confronted with situations in his work in which blocked catheters became a health risk for his patients. unnecessary risk, he found. After all, catheters are not a particularly complex technology at their core.

His impression: There is a real gap in supply here!

The CaDo, which has been developed and refined over several years®-System is a intelligent solutionto remove blockages in catheters with little effort.

CaDo Medical Solutions

a strong team

In addition to Dr. David Elsässer, Prof. Dr. Michael Wiehl and Antonia Vitale to the core team of CaDo Medical Solutions. Together we work to make the CaDo®system to market maturity as soon as possible.

In addition to the technical development of the components to series production, the necessary steps are currently being taken to obtain approval for the CaDo system as a medical device in accordance with the strict requirements of the European Union. In addition, we are conducting intensive tests in our research laboratory using blocked catheters from emergency patients. In close coordination with our technical development partners, colleagues, companies from the industry and partners at the health insurance companies, we want to make our product as quick and easy as possible to as large a number of patients as possible.

CaDo Medical Solutions

Our vision

CaDo Medical Solutions was founded in 2017 around the idea for our first product, the CaDo System. Every day, people in Germany and around the world suffer from blocked urinary catheters. Unforeseen stays in the emergency room are a burden for those affected and limit their quality of life.

Our vision is to develop a product that can reliably resolve this common medical emergency at any time. In the home environment, in a nursing home or even when travelling. Very close to those affected and their concerns. Technically perfect, with specialist medical support.

Modern urology by people for people.
German engineering for you.
